Brief

SIX HATS is an interactive immersive experience about integration vs. exclusion: it is a  social experiment  designed for six players.
You start as a  homogeneous group and play a game full of motion as well as audiovisual and haptic surprises. A system leads you and tries to manipulate you. However, if you do not meet the ideals of the continuously turning system, one person must leave.
You are active parts of the experience and decide on its outcome. 

How will you react?
Will you exclude the others?
Will you obey?
Will you act self-determinedly?
Will you resist?
As a group?

Gameplay

The installation’s central elements are six shining hats. Every person wears a hat with an individual color. The colors change. But you cannot see your own color. You need to COMMUNICATE with the others. Then you play a color game: stand in the area with the same color like your hat. Be quick, do not collide with the others, follow the system’s rules and be part of it. Otherwise it will ban you. The system enjoys the group’s willingness to follow it. The group may be abused as the system’s turning power. The scary potential of a mass movement becomes evident.
Will the participants raise against the system? Act with your own initiative!
